Legendary heavy music pioneers Converge return with Love Is Not Enough, their highly-anticipated eleventh studio album, out February 13, 2026 via Deathwish / Epitaph.
Alongside the announcement, the band share the album’s gripping title track and music video:
Watch “Love Is Not Enough”:
For over three decades, Converge have defined what emotional extremity and artistic integrity look like within hardcore, punk, and metal. From 2001’s groundbreaking Jane Doe to 2021’s collaborative Bloodmoon: I, the band’s influence is immeasurable. And yet, Love Is Not Enough may be one of the most striking statements of their career.
Crafted by the classic lineup, vocalist/lyricist Jacob Bannon, guitarist/producer Kurt Ballou, bassist/vocalist Nate Newton, and drummer Ben Koller, the album is a raw, urgent meditation on human turmoil. Bannon describes the title track as a lyrical reckoning:
“It explores what it means to remain empathetic and compassionate in the modern world… a reckoning with who we are today and hope to be in the future—if we can fend off the scavengers.”
Recorded and mixed by Kurt Ballou at God City with engineering from Zach Weeks, the album embraces realism over perfection—favoring wild, powerful performances over studio sterilization. Its sequencing was meticulously designed to build momentum without relief.
Bannon also created artwork for each song, including the album’s striking cover featuring a celestial entity witnessing a world ablaze.
Converge will perform at Saddest Day Fest on December 13 in Boston, MA alongside Touché Amoré, Coalesce, The Hope Conspiracy, Full of Hell, Soul Glo, and more.
