After conquering Wembley Arena and redefining modern goth rock with Sanguivore, CREEPER return with Sanguivore II: Mistress of Death, set for release this Halloween via Spinefarm Records. The band continues their vampiric saga with the haunting new single Prey for the Night.

“Prey for the Night” is about perversion and detachment — about what we glorify when we look into the darkness,” says vocalist William von Ghould, whose signature baritone leads the track’s cinematic descent.
Opening with brooding darkwave synths and pulsing ‘80s energy, the song unfolds into a grandiose gothic anthem: sharp hard rock riffs, a soaring Steinman-esque chorus, seductive vocal interplay between von Ghould and Hannah Greenwood, and a climactic saxophone solo that would make the Devil himself blush. Even its title carries a devilish double meaning, “prey” or “pray,” the hunger remains the same.
CREEPER’s latest opus builds upon the mythology of Sanguivore, following a British rock band spiraling into chaos during an American tour at the height of the 1980s Satanic Panic. Each city leaves behind a trail of bodies — and as hysteria grows, the supernatural hunter Mistress of Death sharpens her blade.
Narration comes courtesy of gothic icon Patricia Morrison (Sisters of Mercy, The Damned), while the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra lends its lush strings to the band’s most cinematic work to date.

CREEPER have unveiled exclusive collectibles for Sanguivore II, including blood-red and full moon white vinyl variants, plus limited merch like the Mistress of Death embroidered bomber jacket and Sanguivore 666 hockey shirt.
A VHS-style double cassette edition sold out within hours of announcement.
The band will also appear at MCM London Comic Con on October 25, where their vampiric hostess Darcia, The Vampire Familiar will moderate a live panel and fan signing session.
CREEPER will support Ice Nine Kills on tour across the UK in December 2025.
