Hailing from the heart of the Los Angeles hardcore scene, Cutthroat have built a reputation for delivering a blend of metallic hardcore, thrash intensity, and hip-hop attitude since forming in 2013. Led by founding vocalist Neil Roemer, the four-piece also features São Paulo metal veterans Betto Cardoso on drums and Renato Romano on guitar, bringing an international edge to the band’s aggressive sound.
For fans of Biohazard, Body Count, Agnostic Front, Madball, and Sick of It All, Cutthroat fuse relentless energy into a sound rooted deeply in hardcore culture while pushing into heavier metallic territory.
The band released their debut full-length Reflekt in 2020, produced by Billy Graziadei of Biohazard. Featuring tracks such as “Never Settle,” “Drown With Me,” and “Rat,” the album helped establish Cutthroat on the international hardcore circuit and was promoted during the renowned Persistence Tour across Europe.
Their sophomore album, Fear by Design, arrived in 2023 with standout tracks including “Murder Ring,” “Press On,” and “Blood on My Hands.” The release was followed by extensive touring throughout Europe and South America, alongside select U.S. appearances. Both records were released through Demons Run Amok Entertainment in Berlin, Germany.
Over the years, Cutthroat have shared stages with heavyweight acts including Biohazard, Body Count, Agnostic Front, Madball, Sick of It All, Destruction, and Judas Priest, further cementing their reputation as a formidable live act.

With the recently released single “Purge,” Cutthroat continue to evolve their sound. Neil Roemer describes the band’s upcoming third album as darker, heavier, and more dynamic, featuring expanded vocal techniques, deeper growls, and an even stronger metal influence while retaining the hardcore aggression that defines the band.
