Iron Bonehead Productions will release Deogen’s long-awaited second album, The Graves and Ghosts of Yore, on November 14th in CD and vinyl LP formats.
Carving their own path within raw, ancient black metal, DEOGEN channel a sound that feels unearthed from the late ’90s underground. Drawing echoes of acts like Winter Funeral, Maldoror, and early Demoncy, the record balances mysticism with sorrow through mid-paced riffing, ritualistic vocals, and the haunting presence of piano and synths at the forefront. The band instead immerse listeners in an atmosphere of vampiric splendor and old-world bleakness.
To coincide with the release, Iron Bonehead will also reissue Deogen’s 2020 debut, The Endless Black Shadows of Abyss, making both albums available once more to the faithful.
