Spanish melodic power metal band Dragonfly have unveiled the first details of their upcoming EP, Laberinto, set for worldwide release on October 2, 2026 via Art Gates Records.
Serving as the follow-up to Zeitgeist, Laberinto aims to build on the band’s signature blend of melodic power and heavy metal while showcasing the technical prowess and songwriting chemistry of the current lineup. Fronted by vocalist Pablo Solano, the band also features Juanba Nadal (bass and backing vocals), Víctor González (guitars), Isauro Aljaro (keyboards), and Jorge Alcázar (drums).
Fans have already received a preview of the new material through the release of the EP’s title track, “Laberinto,” accompanied by a cinematic music video that highlights the band’s dramatic and melodic approach.
A Carefully Crafted Production
For the visual identity of Laberinto, Dragonfly enlisted Joe Arca of Joe Arca Design to create the cover artwork, capturing the conceptual atmosphere of the release. Photography was provided by Toni Mestre.
The EP was self-produced by the band, ensuring that every aspect of the recording remained true to their artistic vision. Recording sessions were overseen by Raúl Abellán at The Mixtery Studios, while mixing and mastering were handled by acclaimed producer Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio in San Marino, a facility renowned within the European metal scene.
