Swedish symphonic power metal band DRAGONLAND have announced their seventh studio album, Prophecies, which is scheduled for release on October 23 via Scarlet Records. To mark the announcement, the band has unveiled the album’s first single, “Survival of Mankind,” now available on streaming platforms.
Produced with longtime collaborator Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman, Prophecies sees DRAGONLAND revisiting the band’s signature blend of soaring melodies, rapid-fire riffs, orchestral arrangements, and fantasy-inspired storytelling while also expanding into new musical territory.
The album was mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström, whose production credits include In Flames, Arch Enemy, and HammerFall. The cover artwork was created by Pedro Sena, known for his work with Amon Amarth and Kreator.
According to the band, Prophecies combines epic fantasy narratives, emotional ballads, and high-speed power metal anthems with a wide range of lyrical themes, delivering a record that both honors the group’s past and pushes its sound forward.
In addition to the album announcement, DRAGONLAND has joined the RTN Touring booking roster and is scheduled to tour Europe during November and December 2026 alongside Týr and Twilight Force.
