Progressive metal pioneers Dream Theater have revealed their return to the USA with the Parasomnia tour this fall, kicking off September 5, 2025, in Reading, PA, at Santander Performing Arts Center and wrapping up October 25 in Uniondale, NY, at Nassau Coliseum. The band will perform their latest album Parasomnia in its entirety at each show, promising an immersive experience for fans. The 28-date run includes festival stops at Louder Than Life (Sep 19) and Aftershock (Oct 3), plus two Florida dates: Clearwater at The BayCare Sound on September 10 and Orlando at Hard Rock Live on September 12.
Dream Theater’s tour will also hit major cities like Atlanta (Coca Cola Roxy, Sep 13-14), Detroit (Fox Theatre, Sep 21), and Minneapolis (Orpheum Theatre, Sep 25). Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 23, at 10 a.m. local time. Formed in 1985, the band—currently John Petrucci (guitar), James LaBrie (vocals), John Myung (bass), Jordan Rudess (keyboards), and Mike Portnoy (drums, who rejoined in 2023)—continues to push progressive metal boundaries, following their 2024 release Parasomnia, which explores the complexities of sleep disorders through intricate compositions.
