Atmospheric post-metal artist ELLEREVE has unveiled her new single and video, “Trauma”, a powerful reflection on the fractures between identity, experience, and recovery. The track, taken from her forthcoming full-length Umbra, builds upon the ethereal introspection of her debut while delving deeper into heavier, more cathartic territory.

“Trauma” is a reflection on identity in the depths of lived experience, a meditation on the uncertainty that follows in the wake of survival. “Are these thoughts truly mine”, Ellereve asks, “or are they echoes of something older?”
The accompanying music video, directed by Elisa Giulia Teschner and shot by Hermann Auer, captures this transformation in visceral form. Encircled by fire, Ellereve moves through the flames, a ritual of struggle and transcendence, emerging scarred yet free from trauma’s hold.
Ellereve is the musical vision of Elisa Giulia Teschner, a multi-instrumentalist and composer from the Austrian Alps near Innsbruck. Drawing from post-metal, doom, and cinematic soundscapes, Ellereve’s work blurs the lines between heaviness and fragility, capturing both the ache of introspection and the catharsis of transformation.
Her debut album Reminiscence (Eisenwald Records) introduced her haunting sound to the world — a fusion of soul, atmosphere, and emotional depth. With Umbra, Ellereve ventures further into extremes, balancing monumental sonic surges with moments of breathtaking delicacy.
Already previewed by the acclaimed first single featuring Michael J.J. Kogler (Harakiri for the Sky, Karg), Umbra marks a bold new chapter for Ellereve, both musically and spiritually.
