Southwest death-thrash band EMACIATED return with full force on Praise Be, The Iron Apostle, a relentless 20-minute barrage of crossover violence set for release on CD and digital formats on January 9, 2026 via Iron Fortress Records. Featuring members of No Cure, Stolen Gun, and Dysmorphia, the band sharpen their sound into a compact and merciless statement of speed, aggression, and pit-level impact.
Led by drummer and vocalist Duncan Newey, EMACIATED anchored by nonstop percussion and, sandblasted vocal lines. His snarled delivery collides with rapid-fire gang shouts, pushing the intensity higher with every turn.
Praise Be, The Iron Apostle thrives on a rabid collision of hardcore urgency and extreme metal violence. Drawing comparisons to the blunt-force drive of Power Trip fused with the razor-sharp thrash precision of Testament. There is no filler here, only constant forward motion designed to ignite chaos in the pit.
The EP was recorded by Ramirez and Newey, mixed and mastered by Ramirez, and features striking artwork by Irfan Ramadhan (@hailraw) with coloring by @spearheadvisuals. The EMACIATED logo was created by @urgoted, with photography handled by Jonathon Salgado (@shimmervisuals).The band has also unveiled a new single, “Test Tube Nativity”, offering a first taste of the release’s ferocity and setting the tone for what is to come.
