Progressive alternative metal band ENTHEOS have announced their upcoming studio album, Empty On The Inside, set for release on October 23, 2026, via Metal Blade Records. Alongside the announcement, the band has unveiled the album’s first single, “Golden Crown,” accompanied by an official music video.
Vocalist Chaney Crabb explains that “Golden Crown” was several years in the making, with the song’s chorus originally written in 2020 before the band began developing the new album. Drawing inspiration from 1990s rock and metal, the track combines dark synth textures, massive melodic hooks, and an explosive breakdown, representing the sonic direction of ENTHEOS’ latest work.
Lyrically, “Golden Crown” explores the experience of losing oneself within a destructive attachment that becomes intertwined with personal identity. The song’s central theme reflects the conflict between something that feels empowering while simultaneously becoming a burden.
Empty On The Inside is described as the band’s most ambitious and complete release to date. Featuring vocalist Chaney Crabb and multi-instrumentalist Navene Koperweis alongside guitarists Scott Carstairs (FALLUJAH) and Michael Stancel (ALLEGaeon), the album showcases the group’s technical musicianship while introducing tighter songwriting, stronger hooks, and a greater emphasis on melody.
According to ENTHEOS, the album was created with the goal of capturing the raw energy and authenticity of 1990s rock and metal while avoiding overly polished modern production. The record was produced by Mark Lewis and mastered by Justin Sturtz at Sterling Sound, with artwork created by Zac Shiffer.

Currently, ENTHEOS are supporting JINJER on their North American Duél Tour alongside CRYSTAL LAKE. The run follows the band’s first-ever North American headlining tour in 2025, which featured sold-out shows and venue upgrades.
