Belgian black metal veterans ENTHRONED have unleashed Raviasamin, the first single from their highly anticipated new album Ashspawn, set for release on December 5th via Season of Mist.

Six years in the making, Ashspawn is envisioned as both autopsy and resurrection—a ritual exploration of death, negation, and eventual transformation. Raviasamin serves as the entry point into this conceptual world, its soundscape combining blinding speed with sculpted mid-tempo passages, serrated dissonance with chant-like resonance, and drumming that alternates between blast-driven chaos and ceremonial weight.
Lyrically, the track summons images of serpents, shattered silence, and the “backwards tree”, connecting directly to the album’s central themes of ritual destruction and rebirth.
The accompanying video translates these esoteric concepts into visual form without relying on generative tools. Every element—robes, carvings, statues, was first hand-drawn, sculpted, or designed before being reconstructed in Unreal Engine. Key imagery includes a 3D rendering of Belial, drawn from Jose Gabriel Alegria Sambogal’s album artwork, and a hand-animated qlippothic tree, merging material craft with digital sorcery.
With Raviasamin, ENTHRONED reaffirm their place as one of black metal’s most enduring and uncompromising forces, once again pushing beyond mere sound into the realm of ritual and transcendence.
