FESSUS Stream Debut Album Subcutaneous Tomb at Death Metal Promotion

Austrian death metallers Fessus unveil a full stream of their highly anticipated debut album, Subcutaneous Tomb, exclusively via the Death Metal Promotion YouTube channel. The album is set for international release on November 26th through Darkness Shall Rise Productions. Hear the record in full:

Emerging from Vienna’s underground, Fessus formed in 2023 and quickly made an impression with their demo Pilgrims of Morbidity. Now, two years later, the quartet return with a debut full-length steeped in morbidity, groove, and deranged atmosphere. Rather than chasing speed or technicality, Fessus lean into mid-paced, festering death metal punctured by bursts of violent aggression. The result is a sound that is memorable, and unmistakably their own.

Vocalist Brenton delivers a performance that channels the spirit of cult legends like Killjoy of Necrophagia, versatile, vile, and utterly depraved. Across the album’s six lengthy tracks, Fessus conjure a dense, suffocating aura that recalls early Autopsy or Purtenance while forging a distinctly personal identity. Subcutaneous Tomb stands as the strongest death metal offering to come out of Austria in decades.

Stream Subcutaneous Tomb now at Death Metal Promotion. Preorder information is available here.
