BLKIIBLK Records is proud to announce the signing of Greek power metal band FIREWIND. Led by world-renowned guitarist Gus G. (Ozzy Osbourne, Dream Evil), FIREWIND has long been a cornerstone of melodic heavy metal, delivering high-octane albums and electrifying performances across the globe.
As the band enters this exciting new era, FIREWIND also confirms a key lineup change:
Henning Basse is officially returning as the band’s vocalist.
Basse, whose ties to FIREWIND date back to his role as touring singer during the Allegiance era, became an essential part of the group’s identity from 2016 to 2019, most memorably on the acclaimed album Immortals. His return marks a powerful full-circle moment for the band.
Simultaneously, FIREWIND announces the departure of Herbie Langhans from vocal duties.
“We ‘borrowed’ Herbie from Avantasia for as long as we could, but our schedules and needs kept clashing with the increased touring obligations. We thank him for his time, the awesome music we made together, and wish him all the best,” the band stated.
Gus G. shares his excitement for the band’s next chapter:
