Portuguese symphonic metallers Glasya have released the official video for “Fear”, the title track and first single from their forthcoming album, due out October 24 via Scarlet Records. The song features a powerful guest appearance by Fernando Ribeiro (Moonspell), setting the tone for what promises to be the band’s most ambitious work to date.
Watch Fear (Official Video):
Directed by Soraia Martins & Flávio Almeida of Dream & Drama Productions.
The album Fear tells the conceptual journey of Sarah, a woman who wakes up in an inhospitable place with no memories, haunted by voices that manifest her deepest fears. Throughout the record, she confronts these shadows, gradually turning her vulnerabilities into strength, a triumph over adversity that listeners will experience alongside her.
Vocalist Eduarda Soeiro (also a member of Moonspell’s live band) leads the narrative with her commanding presence, supported by Glasya’s signature blend of cinematic metal, orchestral grandeur, and heavy grooves.
Fear also features notable contributions from across the symphonic and metal spectrum:
- Fernando Ribeiro (Moonspell) – vocals on Fear and In Debris
- Michele Guaitoli (Visions Of Atlantis) – vocals on Glimpse Of Memory
- Sara Leitão (Dark Oath) – vocals on Rising Wildfire
- Filipe de Moura (tenor) – vocals on Rescue
