God’s Hate have returned with a new three-song EP, Won’t Be Disgraced, a dense and urgent release shaped by grief and the current state of the hardcore community and the world beyond it.
The band describes the EP as a reflection on perseverance, solidarity, and confronting a world increasingly defined by division, greed, religious extremism, and violations of human rights.
“Your mind can be your most powerful tool or a weapon used against you in your darkest moments, and the only guaranteed way to fail yourself and your loved ones is to quit,” the band comments. “As the world continues to be destroyed from within by greed, religious extremism, and 24 hour news cycles of division and violations of human rights… it has never been more apparent that all we have is each other. Use your hate to make a change. Don’t be disgraced.”
Won’t Be Disgraced is dedicated to Bohan Daniel Lueders.
The EP was recorded and mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Recording Studio and mastered by Brad Boatright. Cover artwork was created by James Bousema.
God’s Hate will celebrate the release tonight, August 18th, with a record release show at Midnight Hour in San Fernando, California. The lineup also features Twitching Tongues, Internal Affairs/Piece By Piece, Human Garbage, Start Today, and Firestarter.
