Hungarian epic folk metal band GRYMHEART has released the official music video for “Demon Of Dreams,” the second single from their upcoming sophomore album, Wake Not The Beast, arriving November 20, 2026, via Scarlet Records.
Inspired by Germanic folklore, “Demon Of Dreams” explores the legend of the Alp, a malevolent supernatural creature believed to invade dreams, paralyze sleeping victims, and inflict terrifying nightmares. Musically, the track highlights the band’s more restrained, mid-tempo approach, combining memorable melodies with a powerful, infectious chorus.
Led by Gábor Kovács (Gabriel Blacksmith), founder of Hungarian power metal veterans WISDOM, GRYMHEART continues to develop its distinctive blend of power, folk, and symphonic metal. The upcoming album follows their debut, Hellish Hunt, introducing heavier guitar work, expanded orchestral arrangements, and a stronger emphasis on epic battle choirs.
Produced, mixed, and mastered by Kovács at Blacksmith Studio, Wake Not The Beast features artwork by renowned artist Gyula Havancsák, whose previous credits include ACCEPT, ENSIFERUM, STRATOVARIUS, and BURNING WITCHES.
Drawing inspiration from legendary monster hunters, mythology, and fantasy literature, GRYMHEART combines adventurous storytelling with melodic compositions and harsh vocals. The new material also explores deeper philosophical themes while maintaining the band’s signature balance of aggression and melody.
