Halsey and Evanescence‘s Amy Lee have dropped the official music video for their collaborative single “Hand That Feeds,” released today, May 30, 2025, as part of the soundtrack for From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, which hits theaters on June 6. Directed by Hannah Lux Davis and produced by Elisabeth Makitalo, the video features Halsey and Lee performing the track, with songwriting credits to Halsey, Amy Lee, Jordan Fish, Michael Pollack, and Griff Clawson. Jordan Fish produced the song, and Zakk Cervini handled mixing. Amy Lee’s styling was done by Marjan Malakapour and Ashton Michael, with hair and makeup by Beth Wilson.

The cinematic track, first teased on May 6 and released on May 9, features haunting piano and siren-like drones, with lyrics like “Too late ’cause you know you can’t turn around and bite the hand that feeds.” It complements the film’s intense vibe, starring Ana de Armas as Eve Macarro, an assassin training in the Ruska Roma traditions during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. The movie also features Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves. Halsey, who launched her For My Last Trick tour on May 10 in Concord, California, will perform with Evanescence at the Hollywood Bowl on May 14, a collaboration Lee described as feeling like “the universe pulled us together for this moment.”
