GRAMMY-nominated hardcore veterans HATEBREED have unleashed the title track from their long-awaited ninth studio album, Fatal Paradox, arriving November 6 via BLKIIBLK.
Clocking in at under three minutes, “Fatal Paradox” delivers a groove-driven blast of metallic hardcore built around crushing riffs and the kind of punishing breakdowns that have defined HATEBREED for nearly three decades. The track arrives alongside an official visualizer and offers another preview of the Connecticut heavyweights’ first studio album since 2020’s Weight of the False Self.
Fatal Paradox finds HATEBREED once again working with longtime collaborator Zeuss, whose credits include Rob Zombie, Accept, and Shadows Fall. The upcoming record promises the band’s familiar collision of hardcore, metal, thrash, d-beats, breakdowns, and gang-vocal intensity while maintaining the themes of perseverance and self-empowerment that have remained central to their music.
The album’s previously released “Kill Count Increase” leans heavily into crossover thrash, pairing accelerating tempos and crushing riffs with frontman Jamey Jasta’s unmistakable bark. Elsewhere, tracks including “Total Invincible” explore the band’s thrashier side, while “The Carrion Choir” and “Truth Is A Lion” dive directly into the hardcore attack at the foundation of HATEBREED’s sound.
Fatal Paradox will also feature a guest appearance from Obituary vocalist John Tardy on “Sacrifice Season.”
The new album marks the latest chapter in a career stretching back more than three decades. Early releases Under The Knife and Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire helped establish HATEBREED as a defining force in metallic hardcore before albums including Perseverance, The Rise of Brutality, and Supremacy pushed the band onto increasingly larger stages worldwide.
More recent records The Concrete Confessional and Weight of the False Self have continued that trajectory, while the band’s “Looking Down The Barrel Of Today” is approaching 130 million global streams. HATEBREED have also sold more than 1.5 million albums in North America.
HATEBREED are currently headlining Summer Slaughter and will remain on the road throughout the coming months, including appearances supporting Slayer and Turnstile as well as a performance at Furnace Fest.
