THE NIGHT ETERNAL Share “Eurydice (Don’t Look Back)” Video

German heavy metal band THE NIGHT ETERNAL have released a new video for “Eurydice (Don’t Look Back),” the latest single from their new full-length album, Cold Velvet, out now via Metal Blade Records.

Serving as the album’s focus track and fourth single, “Eurydice (Don’t Look Back)” combines an instantly memorable chorus with hypnotic guitar work and driving rhythms. Lyrically, the song continues the band’s exploration of Greek mythology, following themes previously heard on tracks such as “Elysion” and “In Tartarus” while offering their own retelling of the tragic story of Orpheus and Eurydice.

“Eurydice (Don’t Look Back)” was the first song written for Cold Velvet and helped establish the musical direction that would shape the rest of the album.

Across its eight tracks, Cold Velvet blends traditional heavy metal and rock ’n’ roll with gothic atmosphere, melancholy and dreamlike unease. Hypnotic rhythms, melodic guitar work and infectious choruses remain at the center of THE NIGHT ETERNAL’s sound while pushing the darker identity established on their previous releases further.

The album was recorded between May and December 2025 at Church Of Sound Studios near Munich, Germany. Production, recording and mixing were handled by Michael Zech, guitarist of Secrets Of The Moon whose production credits include Sulphur Aeon, Triptykon and The Ruins Of Beverast.
