Danish thrash-death metallers HATESPHERE have released a lyric video for “Dogma,” the second single from their forthcoming 12th studio album, Guillotine, due October 9 via Scarlet Records.

“Dogma” takes aim at contradictions within religion and the idea of faith as a moral guideline. With an ironic edge, the song questions the possibility of objective truth when ulterior motives repeatedly find their way into public view.
The lyric video was created by Stefano Mastronicola.
Guillotine follows the band’s acclaimed 2023 album Hatred Reborn and finds HATESPHERE pushing into darker, more atmospheric territory without abandoning the aggression, speed, melody and groove that have defined their sound.
Across its ten tracks, the album examines the forces that shape the human moral compass, questioning what determines right and wrong and what lies behind our intentions, motives and actions. At its core is the ongoing conflict between human nature and societal constructs, ultimately asking which will break first — the individual or society — and what consequences will follow.
Produced, mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio, whose credits include Heaven Shall Burn, The Haunted and Dark Tranquillity, Guillotine features cover artwork by Mikkel Rützov/Drown Design.
Guillotine will be available digitally, on digipack CD and on vinyl, including 350 marbled orange and 150 white copies.
