Pennsylvania-based hard rock band Halestorm, formed in 1997, has released their new single Rain Your Blood On Me from their forthcoming sixth studio album, Everest, set for release on August 8, 2025, via Atlantic Records.
The track, debuted live at Black Sabbath’s farewell concert, is available to stream on Spotify and YouTube. The song features a heavy dirge beat, drumming by Arejay Hale, fast guitar riffs by Joe Hottinger, Lzzy Hale’s powerful vocals, and Josh Smith’s dark bass grooves. It follows previously released singles Darkness Always Wins and the title track Everest.
Lzzy Hale describes the song as an “ode to women,” capturing themes of struggle and empowerment. The band, consisting of Lzzy Hale (vocals, guitar), Arejay Hale (drums), Joe Hottinger (guitar), and Josh Smith (bass), recorded Everest with producer Dave Cobb. Halestorm will support Volbeat on a U.S. tour starting July 17, 2025, in Denver, followed by their “(n)EVEREST” tour with Lindsey Stirling and Apocalyptica in September.
