Lamb Of God Announce New Album Into Oblivion, Out March 13 via Epic Records

Lamb of God have announced their tenth studio album, Into Oblivion, set for release on March 13 through Epic Records. The record marks the band’s first full-length release in four years and finds the Richmond metal veterans operating from a position of complete creative freedom.

Comprised of ten tracks, Into Oblivion sees Lamb of God reconnecting with their roots while reinforcing the groove-heavy intensity that has defined their legacy. The album balances familiarity with expansion, delivering music that feels purposeful, unrestrained, and unconcerned with trends or expectations.

The announcement arrives alongside the premiere of the album’s title track, “Into Oblivion”, accompanied by a video directed by Tom Flynn and Mike Watts. Guitarist Mark Morton describes the album as a return to instinct-driven creativity: writing without an agenda beyond making music the band genuinely believes in. Vocalist Randy Blythe offers a darker perspective, noting that the album’s title reflects the rapid erosion of social norms, particularly in modern American society.

In the lead-up to today’s reveal, Lamb of God released two aggressive singles. “Sepsis” paid tribute to the early ’90s Richmond underground that shaped the band, while “Parasocial Christ” delivered a concise, classic Lamb of God sound.

Produced and mixed by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur, Into Oblivion was recorded across locations deeply tied to the band’s history. Drums were tracked in Richmond, guitars and bass at Morton’s home studio, and vocals captured by Blythe at the legendary Total Access Studio in Redondo Beach, California.

Album pre-orders are available now through the band’s official site, with an initial unannounced pressing already selling out. Limited signed vinyl, signed CDs, and a special zine edition are currently available.
