Heavy metal new band LEATHERWITCH has unleashed its brand-new single, “Heroes And The Dice,” alongside an official music video. The track is the second single taken from the band’s upcoming debut album, First Spell, set for release on May 29 via Listenable Records.
Fronted by former Crystal Viper vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Marta Gabriel, LEATHERWITCH blends speed metal aggression with classic heavy metal hooks and fantasy-inspired themes. “Heroes And The Dice” pays tribute to Dungeons & Dragons, RPG culture, and classic board gaming while delivering high-energy riffing, shredding solos, and an unmistakably old-school metal atmosphere.
Following the dissolution of Crystal Viper, Marta Gabriel returns with a renewed vision through LEATHERWITCH. Known for her work with acts including Vader, Manilla Road, and Metalucifer, Gabriel handles vocals, guitar, bass, and drums on the album, with special guest Giuseppe Taormina contributing guitar solos.
The previously released single “Beast Inside” introduced fans to the project’s gothic horror themes and classic speed metal energy, setting the tone for what promises to be a riff-heavy debut.
