Spanish folk metal icons Mägo de Oz have released the official lyric video for their second single, La Tierra de Nunca Jamás, from their forthcoming album Malicia (La Noche de las Brujas), premiered today, June 26, 2025. The video is available on their YouTube channel, with fans encouraged to subscribe for updates.

This follows the release of their first single, El Vals de las Almas Rotas, on March 20, 2025:
La Tierra de Nunca Jamás is a poignant track with lyrics exploring loss and longing, as vocalist Rafa Blas sings, “Llévame a la tierra de nunca jamás / Donde nacen sonrisas en el corazón / Donde el cielo no rompa a llorar lluvia en mí.” The song narrates a tale of yearning to reunite with a lost loved one, culminating in a haunting image of the protagonist’s spirit soaring as a shooting star. The band’s lineup includes Rafa Blas (vocals), Txus di Fellatio (drums), Jorge Salán, Víctor de Andrés, and Ix Valieri (guitars), Carlos Prieto “Moha” (violin), Fernando Mainer (bass), Cesco Antonelli (keyboards), Diego Palacio (flutes and bagpipes), and Xana Lavey (backing vocals).

Malicia (La Noche de las Brujas) delves into the mythic backstory of the band’s iconic witch imagery, centered on Maialen, a young woman from Euskal Herria with dreams of rock stardom. She discovers her descent from a lineage of witches, beginning with Mystica, condemned by the Inquisition alongside a violin crafted by the Devil. A curse tied to the instrument leads Maialen into black magic, her skin rotting and turning greenish as she embraces her heritage.
