Finnish death metal band Malformed, formed in 2022 in Helsinki, has released their single The Incoming Rapture from their debut full-length album Confinement of Flesh, set for release on July 25, 2025, via Dark Descent Records (U.S.) and Extremely Rotten Productions (Europe).

The band, consisting of Eetu Hyvönen (lead vocals, guitars), Akseli Lindroos (guitar), Pauli Niemi (bass, vocals), and Jani Seppi (drums), delivers a brutal blend of classic American death metal’s intensity and the eerie gloom of early Finnish death metal pioneers.

Recorded by the band, produced and engineered by Felix Pennanen (Disguised Malignance), and mastered by Lasse at Ballade Studios, the album features ominous cover art by Icelandic artist Skadvaldur.
