Norwegian black metallers MORK have released a new music video for “Skrømt,” taken from their latest album, Monolitt, out now via Peaceville Records.
Created by Matt Vickerstaff, the new video arrives as MORK prepare to embark on their first full European headline tour, with SOULBURN joining as special guests.
“MORK is heading out on our first-ever European headline tour,” mastermind Thomas Eriksen says. “After years of playing individual club shows and festivals across Europe, it’s time for a full run.”
“With MONOLITT released earlier this year, this tour will be a celebration of the new album. To mark the tour’s kick-off, we’re also releasing a new music video for ‘SKRØMT’ through Peaceville Records. See you on the road.”
The European run kicks off October 9 in the Netherlands and will take MORK through Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, France, and other territories before concluding October 25 in Maastricht, Netherlands.
Released earlier this year, Monolitt continues the path established by MORK’s 2024 album Syv. The record was primarily performed and recorded by Eriksen, with Asgeir Mickelson handling drums and additional vocals provided by MORK member Øyvind Kaslegard.
The album was mixed by Børge Finstad at Toproom Studio, with mastering handled by Jack Control at Enormous Door and Maor Appelbaum at Appelbaum Mastering. Norwegian artist Kjell Åge Melland created the album artwork.
