Chinese Mongolian progressive metal band Nine Treasures will release their highly anticipated new full-length, Seeking The Absolute, on October 24th via Metal Blade Records. Today, the band unveils the album’s first single, Real Dream, alongside preorders.

Formed in 2010 by vocalist/guitarist Askhan in Inner Mongolia, Nine Treasures have become known for their seamless blend of heavy metal power with traditional Mongolian instrumentation, incorporating balalaika, tovshuur, and the morin khuur (horsehead fiddle) alongside throat singing. With four albums, more than 100 festival appearances annually across Asia, and audiences of up to 50,000, the band is now set to bring their unique sound to the world stage with their Metal Blade debut.
“On Seeking The Absolute, we tried to capture the things that truly excite us deep inside — those unforgettable moments when your mind swings wide open to infinite possibilities” says Askhan. “At the same time, it’s like an enormous puzzle requiring both reflection and analysis. That’s why we call it Seeking The Absolute.“
The album’s first single, Real Dream, was born during a writing session in Los Angeles. “It marked a turning point for the band,” Askhan explains. “Through this song, we rediscovered our confidence and broke through a long creative bottleneck. It truly felt like a rebirth.”
