Italian progressive power metallers Noveria will release their fifth studio album, Becoming After, on August 21 through Scarlet Records.
Built upon the band’s signature fusion of progressive power metal, modern heaviness, cinematic atmospheres, and technical musicianship, Becoming After finds Noveria exploring darker and more emotional territory while maintaining the ambitious sound that has defined their career. Massive choruses collide with crushing riffs, while sweeping orchestration and raw vulnerability stand alongside moments of pure aggression.
According to the band, every song on the album reflects personal struggles, resilience, and transformation, channeling real-life battles into a powerful and deeply emotional listening experience. Supported by a renewed lineup, Noveria return with what promises to be their heaviest, most cinematic, and fearless release to date.
Notable Collaborations
Becoming After was produced, mixed, and mastered by guitarist Francesco Mattei at Underworld Studio.
The album features several distinguished guest musicians, including legendary pianist and composer Mike Moran, known for his work with Freddie Mercury and Ozzy Osbourne, who appears on the track “Through Your Light.”
Keyboardist Mistheria, recognized for his collaborations with Bruce Dickinson and the Vivaldi Metal Project, contributes to “Cold Flames.”
Additional orchestral depth comes courtesy of violinist Abigail Stahlschmidt and cellist Luca Basile, who performed the album’s live string arrangements.
Artwork for the release was created by Paolo Conte and Bianca Gambrioli.
Noveria is also scheduled to perform at the upcoming ProgPower USA 2026.
