Swedish metal band ORBIT CULTURE have released a new video for “Nuclear God,” turning footage captured throughout their summer festival appearances into a tribute to the fans and community that have grown around the band.
The release arrives ahead of Death Above Life (Deluxe Edition), an expanded version of ORBIT CULTURE’s latest studio album set for release on October 9.
Originally released as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of Death Above Life, “Nuclear God” now receives its own video assembled from the band’s extensive collection of live and festival footage.

When we started going through all the footage we had gathered from the summer festivals, we wanted to turn it into something that felt like a tribute to our fans and the community that has grown around this band.”

ORBIT CULTURE Expand Death Above Life
Created while the band continued touring around the world, Death Above Life (Deluxe Edition) serves as what ORBIT CULTURE describe as the “director’s cut” of their latest studio album.
The expanded release adds four tracks to the original record and will be available digitally as well as in limited physical editions.
The deluxe vinyl arrives as a transparent sea blue and golden yellow splattered 2LP artbook, while a limited 2CD mediabook will also be available. Both physical versions include the four additional tracks and a 40-page booklet.
For the expanded edition, ORBIT CULTURE opened their personal photo archives to assemble a collection of live photography and behind-the-scenes images documenting the era surrounding Death Above Life.
The band has previously released cinematic videos for several tracks from the album, including “The Tales of War,” “Hydra,” “Death Above Life,” “Nerve,” “Bloodhound,” and “The Storm.”
ORBIT CULTURE Set for Major European and North American Tours
The arrival of Death Above Life (Deluxe Edition) will also signal the beginning of another extensive touring cycle for ORBIT CULTURE.
The band will first head across Europe as part of Amon Amarth’s The Allfather Awakens Tour alongside Soilwork.
Immediately afterward, ORBIT CULTURE will travel to North America for the second leg of Trivium’s The Crown in the Grave Tour, joining In Flames and Frozen Soul for a run across the United States and Canada beginning November 20 in Royal Oak, Michigan.
