Heavy metal band Phantom Spell has released Siren Song, the second single from their forthcoming album Heather & Hearth, set for release on July 18, 2025, via Cruz Del Sur Music (vinyl) and Wizard Tower Records (CD and cassette). The single is now streaming on Bandcamp and YouTube.
Formed in 2021 in Murcia, Spain, Phantom Spell blends classic prog rock with NWOBHM influences, featuring dexterous twin-lead guitars, undulating synths, and Hammond organ, all layered beneath Kyle McNeill’s enchanting vocals. Their debut album, Immortal’s Requiem (2022), established their reputation for crafting adventurous, fantasy-driven soundscapes. Heather & Hearth builds on this foundation, weaving heartfelt tales of nostalgia, fantasy, and cautionary storytelling. The album introduces a stronger folk influence, with acoustic guitars taking a prominent role and subtle, brooding sections amplifying the dynamic, Hammond-fueled crescendos.
Heather & Hearth was recorded and mixed by McNeill at Wizard Tower Studios, with the artist performing and programming all instruments. Mastered by Justin Weis at Trakworx, the album is tailored for vinyl, CD, and cassette formats.
