Icelandic heavy metallers Power Paladin have released their new single “Aegis Of Eternity”, offering another glimpse into their upcoming album Beyond The Reach Of Enchantment, set for release March 27 via ROAR.
Fast, melodic, and steeped in fantasy lore, the track charges forward with galloping riffs and thrashy power metal energy while weaving a dark tale of witchcraft and sorcery.
Speaking about the single, guitarist Atli Guðlaugsson explains:
“A high tempo thrashy power metal song with some influences from JPM, Aegis of Eternity tells a spooky story of some sinister dealings with witchcraft and sorcery.”
The result is a high-octane anthem that blends classic power metal heroism with darker storytelling elements.

With their sophomore record, Power Paladin push their sound further while preserving the epic spirit that defined their debut With the Magic of Windfyre Steel. The album unfolds across eight cinematic tracks, each chapter exploring a world filled with mysticism, adventure, and heavy metal heroism.
The record was mixed by Haukur Hannes (known for work with Auðn and Dynfari) and mastered by Frank de Jong of Bleeding Gods, delivering a production that is both powerful and razor-sharp.
The artwork, created by James Child of Astral Clock Tower Studios, reflects the album’s adventurous fantasy themes and classic heavy metal aesthetic.
