German heavy/power metal icons Primal Fear have unleashed the lyric video for their brand-new single I Am The Primal Fear, coinciding with the worldwide release of their highly anticipated album Domination via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).

The track opens with a fierce drum salvo before exploding into the band’s trademark mix of soaring leads, thunderous riffs, and commanding vocals from Ralf Scheepers. Supported by the unrelenting rhythm section of Mat Sinner (bass) and André Hilgers (drums), along with the dynamic guitar team of Thalìa Bellazecca and Magnus Karlsson, the song serves as both a declaration of identity and a rallying cry for fans.
Commenting on the track, Scheepers states:
“Again, outta my way, I am the Primal Fear! No one can stop me and I’m gonna hunt you tonight, I’m your worst nightmare whenever you are trying to fool me!”
Domination was recorded at Dennis Ward’s Kangaroo Studios, co-produced by Sinner, Scheepers, and Karlsson, and mixed/mastered by Jacob Hansen. Featuring 13 tracks—including standouts like Far Away, Tears of Fire, and the guest-featured Eden (with Melissa Bonny of Ad Infinitum)—the album showcases Primal Fear’s ability to merge classic power metal trademarks with fresh intensity.
To celebrate the album, Primal Fear will embark on their Domination Tour 2025 with support from Eleine, kicking off September 5 in Hamburg and running through October across Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, and Spain.
