Technical death metal band Revocation, formed in 2000 in Boston, Massachusetts, premiered their new single Sarcophagi Of The Soul on August 7, 2025, via Metal Blade Records’ YouTube channel, featuring a lyric video with artwork by Tony Guarladi-Brown. Watch it at:
The track, from their ninth album New Gods, New Masters, out September 26, 2025, via Metal Blade Records, explores society’s addiction to phones and idealized digital identities. Produced by Dave Davidson and mixed/mastered by Jens Bogren, the album features guest appearances by Jonny Davy (Job For A Cowboy), Travis Ryan (Cattle Decapitation), Luc Lemay (Gorguts), and Gilad Hekselman.
