Blackened death metal band Shadows, formed in 2021 with members from Germany and Sweden, has released the official music video for their third single, Delivered from Sin, from their debut album Miseria, set for release on August 29, 2025, via an undisclosed label. The video, directed by an uncredited filmmaker, is available on YouTube, and the track can be streamed at shadows-official.lnk.to/delivered-from-sin.
Featuring Dejan Milenkovits (vocals, guitars, ex-Enshrined), Martin Bermheden (guitars), Andreas Holm (bass), and Joél Cirera (drums), the band evolved from Milenkovits’ solo project, with contributions from session drummer Filip Gäddnäs and co-producer Mathias Lodmalm (Cemetary). Delivered from Sin includes a guest solo by Andreas Hedberg and explores themes of existential dread, blending Scandinavian black and death metal with melodic and crushing elements, as noted by Vampster for its “suffocating” intensity. The album’s artwork is by Fernando Rojas B. (Abismo Black Arts).
