Colorado power metal storytellers SIEGE PERILOUS have revealed their first single and music video, “As the Dragon Falls”, featuring legendary vocalist Fabio Lione of Rhapsody and Angra fame. The track offers the first glimpse into the band’s debut concept album, Becoming the Dragon, due out in March 2026.
Forged from a shared love of epic fantasy and narrative-driven songwriting, SIEGE PERILOUS specialize in cinematic power metal rooted in myth, history, and heroic storytelling. “As the Dragon Falls” stands as a pivotal moment for the band, pairing Shaughnessy McDaniel’s commanding lower register with Lione’s iconic vocals to create a dynamic and emotionally charged duet.
Musically, the song blends classic melodic power metal with symphonic grandeur, channeling the spirit of traditional European power metal while introducing a darker, more ominous turn by its conclusion.
