Swedish quartet Siena Root have announced their new double live album, Made In KuBa, slated for release on October 3, 2025, via Perception – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music. Recorded over three intimate nights in March 2024 at Germany’s Kulturbahnhof (KuBa) in Jena, the album captures the band’s signature “Dynamic Root Rock Experience”, a blend of soulful improvisation, dynamic contrasts, and sonic storytelling. Pre-orders for classic black double vinyl (with artistic cut-out cover) and double digipak CD are now open at sienaroot.rpm.link/madeinkubaPR.

The lead single, Wishing For More (Live), is out now, with a live footage video available now and streaming at sienaroot.rpm.link/wishingPR.
Originally recorded on their 2008 album Far From The Sun, the track evolved through years of touring, developing a unique groove captured authentically on tape. The band notes, “We are so pleased to have captured this enchanted groove and energy live on tape.”
Recorded direct to tape by long-time engineer Ove Noring with no overdubs, Made In KuBa features 12 tracks from the band’s catalog, crafted with fan input and distinct from their 2011 live album Root Jam. Guest musicians Erik Peterson (keys) and Lisa Isaksson (flute) enrich select songs. The album was mastered at half-speed, enhancing the vinyl’s sonic depth for an immersive experience.
Siena Root—Zubaida Solid (vocals, keys), Johan Borgström (guitars), Sam Riffer (bass), and Love Forsberg (drums, percussion)—will support the release with live dates. Tickets and info are at sienaroot.com/shows. With eight studio albums and a reputation for genre-blending live performances, Siena Root continue to push their dynamic sound, rooted in vintage equipment and improvisation.
