Signs of the Swarm Releases “Clouded Retinas” Visualizer Featuring Will Ramos

Pittsburgh-based deathcore band Signs of the Swarm has released an official visualizer for their new single “Clouded Retinas,” featuring Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos, today, June 3, 2025. The track is from their upcoming sixth album, To Rid Myself of Truth, set for release on August 22, 2025, via Century Media Records. The visualizer, created by Dylan Gould (instagram.com/staygoulden), complements the song’s brutal intensity, with lyrics like “You can’t see what’s in front of you / Clouded eyes, retinas die, nothing seen is true,” reflecting themes of despair, blindness, and inner chaos. Vocalist David Simonich shared that the song addresses his struggle with vision loss due to Stargardt disease, aiming to raise awareness for degenerative diseases through Ramos’ collaboration.

The track, produced by Josh Schroeder at his studio, features Ramos’ signature shrieks alongside Simonich’s gutturals, blending modern deathcore with nostalgic influences from Nate Johnson and Vincent Bennett. The album also includes guest appearances by Whitechapel’s Phil Bozeman on “Iron Sacrament” and members of 156/Silence and Prison on “Fear & Judgment.” It’s available for pre-order in various formats at signsoftheswarm.lnk.to/ToRidMyselfOfTruth-AlbumPR, with merch, vinyl, and tickets at signsoftheswarm.com.
