Built on crushing riffs and a militant call to action, Torches embodies discipline, sacrifice, and the responsibility of carrying a legacy forward.

Frontman Daryn LaMontagne explains:

“To be the example, you must live the example and hold the line. ‘Torches’ reminds us: Legacies aren’t inherited; they are forged.”

Southpaw FLHC first appeared onto the scene with their 2020 self-titled EP and have since released a string of singles backed by relentless touring alongside the likes of With Blood Comes Cleansing, Bodysnatcher, and Hoods. Their DIY ethic and live shows quickly earned them recognition as one of hardcore’s most promising new acts.

With the Spinefarm signing, the band now sets their sights on a bigger stage. Their debut full-length is due in 2026, promising the heaviest material of their caree, a statement of perseverance, empowerment, and enduring legacy.
