Swedish metal project Vintersorg, led by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Andreas Hedlund, will release their new studio album, Vattenkrafternas Spel, on September 26, 2025, via Hammerheart Records.

The first single, Malströmsbrus, is currently streaming at vintersorg.lnk.to/malstromsbrus. The album features stunning artwork by Kris Verwimp, continuing the band’s tradition of visually striking releases. Formed in 1994 in Skellefteå, Vintersorg is known for blending black metal, Nordic folk, and progressive elements, with a discography that includes classics like Till Fjälls and Cosmic Genesis.
