Inspired by their Florida roots, the song channels the oppressive heat and raw hostility of the swamp into a barrage of savage screams, and relentless percussion. It is built on tension and aggression, delivering a sonic bite as vicious as the predators that lurk in the Everglades.

The band explain that It Calls Me By Name is about being drawn back to where you come from. While not a concept release, the five track EP exists in its own world, shaped by the atmosphere, environment, and intensity of Florida. Sonically, it pushes their signature blend of heaviness and hook driven songwriting further into metallic territory than ever before.
