Wednesday 13 dropped the second single, “In Misery,” from his upcoming album “Mid Death Crisis” today. The album, set for release on April 25 via Napalm Records, follows the well-received lead single “When The Devil Commands.”
The North Carolina-based horror punk veteran, known for his work with Murderdolls, delivers a goth-punk and sleaze metal blend with “In Misery.” The track features a catchy hook, balancing heavy riffs with a spooky vibe. It captures the band’s theatrical flair, with dramatic lighting and a gritty, haunted aesthetic that matches the song’s tone.

Wednesday 13, born Joseph Poole, has been a staple in the horror punk scene since the late ‘90s. “Mid Death Crisis” marks his ninth solo album, recorded with his current lineup: Doebbler on guitar, Tankersley on bass, Dupke on drums, and Ashes on guitar. The album promises 10 tracks of his signature mix of punk, metal, and glam:
- There’s No Such Thing As Monsters
- Decease and Desist
- When the Devil Commands
- Rotting Away
- No Apologies (feat. Taime Downe)
- Decapitation
- In Misery
- Blood Storm
- Xanaxtasy
- I Hurt You
- My Funeral
