Technical death metallers Allegaeon have released a lyric video for their track “Imperial”. The song appears on the band’s latest full-length album, The Ossuary Lens, available now via Metal Blade Records.
The video arrives just ahead of the band’s upcoming U.S. tour supporting Obscura, which kicks off March 13 in Los Angeles and runs through April 4 in San Jose. The trek will also feature support from Cryptosis and labelmates Cognitive.

The Ossuary Lens: A Powerful Return
The Ossuary Lens marks Allegaeon’s seventh studio album and the first to feature the return of original vocalist Ezra Haynes, who departed the band in 2015 following the release of Elements Of The Infinite.
The album was recorded with longtime collaborator Dave Otero at Flatline Audio Studio in Denver, marking the sixth Allegaeon record produced by Otero. The result is a record that balances the band’s trademark technical ferocity with melodic depth, delivering what many critics are calling one of their most cohesive releases to date.
Haynes’ return has been widely praised, bringing a raw and visceral vocal edge that enhances the band’s intricate guitar work, drum performances, and progressive song structures.
