Thrash metal legends Anthrax have officially announced their long-awaited new studio album, Cursum Perficio, set for release on September 18, 2026.
Marking the band’s first full-length studio release in ten years, Cursum Perficio promises to showcase the full breadth of Anthrax’s signature sound — from blistering old-school thrash aggression to more melodic, hook-driven songwriting. According to the announcement, the album balances ferocious riffing, sharp choruses, and the unmistakable attitude that has kept the band at the forefront of heavy metal for more than four decades.
