New York hardcore veterans MADBALL have announced their tenth studio album, Not Your Kingdom, arriving July 24, 2026 through Nuclear Blast.
Long regarded as one of the defining acts in New York hardcore, the band continues to bridge classic hardcore aggression with modern heaviness. According to vocalist Freddy Cricien, Not Your Kingdom delivers the band’s trademark themes of survival and resilience while also becoming their most personal and introspective record to date.
The first single, Rebel Kids, captures the band’s signature groove-driven intensity while connecting directly with a new generation of hardcore fans. The music video was co-directed by Freddy Cricien and Dave Causa, who also handled filming and editing duties.
Speaking about the track, Cricien explained that “Rebel Kids” was the first song written for the album nearly two years ago and ultimately became the foundation for the direction of the entire release.

The album was recorded at The Boneyard Studios with additional interludes tracked at Chop Shop Studios by Jeff Davis and Chuck Treece. Production and engineering duties were handled by Andrew Baylis, Aiden Thompson, and Grady Saxman, while Lee Rouse completed mixing and mastering.
