Spontaneous and deeply sincere, ARAPHEL channel the raw energy and conviction of classic black metal while rejecting the genre’s theatrical tropes. Across its seven tracks and 39 minutes, The Endchanter reveals an artist’s unfiltered perspective on existence, meaning, and decay, a reflection both tragic and defiant.
Helmed by Santo, a prolific figure in the Italian underground, and joined by veteran musicians Doomed Warrior, Gabriel, and session drummer Mirko Soncini, ARAPHEL deliver music that feels lived-in, not performed; philosophical, not escapist.
While the album’s DNA traces lineage to old-school Greek black metal, and the shadows of Xantotol, Nebiros, Bathory, Dissection, and Desaster, ARAPHEL transcend homage. Their strength lies in narrative songwriting, each track a meditation on authenticity, mortality, and the collapse of faith in modern illusion.
