Arcadea Release Official Music Video for Fuzzy Planet from Upcoming Album The Exodus of Gravity

Synth-rock trio Arcadea, featuring Mastodon drummer Brann Dailor, have premiered the official music video for their new single, Fuzzy Planet, released today, July 1, 2025, via Relapse Records. The track, a gush of interplanetary optimism with warm synth tones, is the lead single from their sophomore album, The Exodus of Gravity, set for release on August 22, 2025, on 2LP, CD, and streaming platforms.

Pre-orders and digital downloads are available here and http://orcd.co/arcadea.

Directed by Bryan Bankovich, the video complements the song’s hopeful narrative, with Dailor singing of a silver future and envisioning “fuzzy balloons lifting off into the sky and a beautiful clown dancing around.” Core Atoms explains, “It’s about that first fuzzy feeling you get when you fall in love… They’re awakening to all the beauty that’s around.” Joined by new member João Nogueira (replacing Raheem Amlani) on synths, Arcadea—completed by Atoms and Dailor—shifts toward a dancey, psychedelic sound, moving away from the debut’s progressive complexity. The album, produced by the band and engineered by Tom Tapley at West End Sound, explores a post-human universe five billion years in the future, where New Arcadea loses gravity as life resurrects through machines and microorganisms.

The 12-track album, rooted in the prog-funk echoes of their early band Gaylord, includes emotional peaks like Lake of Rust (power, anger, revenge) and ends on an optimistic note, hinting at a third album.
