San Francisco, CA – Thrash metal supergroup Nefarious—featuring Katon De Pena (Hirax), Rick Hunolt (ex-Exodus), Doug Piercy (ex-Heathen), Tom Gears (Blind Illusion), and Will “Beastman” Carroll (Death Angel)—have unleashed the title track from their debut album, Addicted to Power, set for release on July 18, 2025, via Relentless “Metal” Records, with a collector vinyl available through Hectic/Bleeding Priest Records. The live music video, filmed at Soundwave Studio in Oakland, CA, is available to watch online, capturing the band’s raw, unrelenting energy.
A anthem addressing the insatiable hunger for control and its devastating impact, Addicted to Power blends classic old-school thrash intensity with a sophisticated edge. The track marks the third single, following the acclaimed Master Plan and One Nation Enslaved, released earlier this spring.
