Swedish extreme metal icons Arch Enemy have officially begun a powerful new chapter, unveiling Lauren Hart (ex-Once Human) as their new vocalist and releasing a new single, “To The Last Breath”.
The track marks the band’s first new material following the Blood Dynasty album cycle — and the first to feature Hart behind the mic.
Founder and guitarist Michael Amott describes the single as both a reckoning and a rebirth:
“Make no mistake — this song is a reckoning. Musically, it’s unapologetically aligned with my original vision for the band. Lyrically, it’s about seeing through deception and dismantling the illusion of control… Once that clarity hits, there’s no retreat. It’s do or die.”
Amott also praised Hart’s arrival:
“Connecting with Lauren has marked an important step in my journey. Her remarkable voice, dedication and professionalism bring a rare level of excellence. I look forward to continuing the collaboration.”
