Extreme technical death metal band ARCHSPIRE have released their new single “Limb of Leviticus”, accompanied by an official lyric video. The track marks the second preview from the band’s forthcoming album Too Fast To Die, due out April 10, 2026.
Now five albums deep, ARCHSPIRE continue to push the limits of speed, precision, and endurance, delivering music that balances overwhelming technicality with razor-sharp hooks. “Limb of Leviticus” exemplifies that approach, combining inhuman drumming, hyper-precise riffing, and rapid-fire vocal flows with moments of melodic release before plunging back into chaos.
Vocalist Oliver Rae Aleron jokes that the song was written in an attempt to scare off the band’s new drummer, Spencer Moore. Instead, Moore reportedly asked to play it faster, setting the tone for the renewed intensity that defines this era of ARCHSPIRE.
Too Fast To Die was recorded in 2025 with longtime producer Dave Otero and marks the band’s first fully independent release following the Juno Award-winning Bleed the Future. Funded directly by fans through crowdfunding, the album raised nearly $400,000 CAD in just 30 days, underscoring the band’s devoted global following.

With new blood in the lineup and complete creative control, ARCHSPIRE are entering a bold new chapter. Too Fast To Die promises to further cement their reputation as one of the most extreme and innovative forces in modern death metal, delivering speed, virtuosity, and unrelenting energy at levels few bands dare to attempt.
