Extreme technical death metal band Archspire have unleashed their new single “Red Goliath”, the third track revealed from their upcoming album Too Fast To Die, arriving April 10, 2026.
True to the band’s reputation as one of the fastest and most technically relentless acts in metal, “Red Goliath” pushes the limits of speed, precision, and sheer sonic overload.
Guitarist Dean Lamb commented on the track’s creation with his signature humor:
“Have you ever wanted something sooooo bad, but it just didn’t exist or seem possible? Like hot carbonated coffee or underwear that doesn’t make your back fat pop out like two extra butt cheeks? That’s exactly how we felt writing ‘Red Goliath.’ It seemed impossible—but somehow, by the grace of Satan, we managed to pull off the most couch-humping, supersonic technical black metal song known to the universe.”

Now five albums deep into their career, Archspire continue to redefine the outer limits of extreme metal. Their upcoming record Too Fast To Die follows the critically acclaimed and Juno Award-winning album Bleed the Future and marks the band’s first fully independent release.
Recorded in 2025, the album reunites the band with producer Dave Otero, known for his work with Cattle Decapitation and Khemmis. The band spent months locked inside Otero’s Denver studio, dedicating themselves entirely to crafting the record.
Early in the process, the band launched a crowdfunding campaign to support the project. The response was overwhelming: fans helped raise nearly $400,000 CAD in just 30 days, smashing the goal in under 24 hours and confirming that the independent path was the right one.
The album also marks the arrival of new drummer Spencer Moore, whose lightning-fast precision immediately proved essential to the new material.

To celebrate the release, Archspire will hit the road this spring for the Long Roads Big Loads Tour, bringing their high-speed technical assault across North America alongside special guests:

The tour kicks off April 24 in Calgary before storming across the U.S. and Canada and concluding June 6 in Vancouver.
